32. Rueben⁵ Chaney (Joseph⁴, Jacob³, Charles², Richard¹ Cheyney) (#1297) was born before. 1848, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Rueben died in Indiana, United States.⁽¹²⁰⁾

He married an unknown person. Reuben Chaney, the son of Joseph Chaney, lived for a while at his father's old home place, then he and his son William emigrated to the state of Indiana, where he later died. Reuben was married but I don't know who his wife was before their marriage. He raised one son whose name was William, and of whom there is right much said in a later chapter. As far as can be learned Reuben was a farmer by trade. written in 1907 by Henry Watson Chaney
