He married twice. He married Lucretia Knapp Johnson 1824.⁽⁴³⁶⁾ (Lucretia Knapp Johnson is #1126.) Lucretia was born in Boone County, Kentucky, United States September 16, 1804.⁽⁴³⁷⁾ Lucretia died February 6, 1830 at 25 years of age.⁽⁴³⁸⁾ He married Elizabeth F. Irwin August 12, 1831.⁽⁴³⁹⁾ (Elizabeth F. Irwin is #891.) Elizabeth was born in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, United States July 18, 1810.⁽⁴⁴⁰⁾ Elizabeth died August 15, 1850 in North Bend, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States, at 40 years of age.⁽⁴⁴¹⁾
