He married Permelia McQuiddy. (Permelia McQuiddy is #1723.) Permelia was born January 25, 1825.⁽⁶⁰⁾ Permelia was the daughter of Benjamin West McQuiddy and Dianah Dicy Shouse. Permelia died May 21, 1902 in Clay County, Missouri, United States, at 77 years of age.⁽⁶¹⁾
