He married Mary Ann Chaney December 17, 1900. (Mary Ann Chaney is #344.) Mary was born in Carroll Countyh, Arkansas, United States June 19, 1879.⁽⁶⁶¹⁾ Mary was the daughter of Robert E. Chaney and Eliza A. Morrison. Mary died June 15, 1954 in Perryton, Ochiltree County, Texas, United States, at 74 years of age.⁽⁶⁶²⁾

George Harbert Stroud and Mary Ann Chaney had the following children:

She married Olif Victor Martin in Rang, Oklahoma, United States, September 11, 1929. (Olif Victor Martin is #605.) Olif was born in Romance, Ozark County, Missouri, United States August 26, 1898. 5 iv. Ora Becil Stroud (#437) was born in Green Forest, Carroll County, Arkansas, United States July 28, 1907. Ora died October 1972 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, United States, at 65 years of age.

7 vi. Nina Mae Stroud (#439) was born in Green Forest, Carroll County, Arkansas, United States April 1, 1913.⁽⁶⁶³⁾ She married twice. She married Elmer Loftin in Reserve, Catron County, New Mexico, United States, ABT 1933. (Elmer Loftin is #617.)
