Chaney and Margaret Lewis. Mintie died September 28, 1956 in Willow Grove, Bell County, Texas, United States, at 85 years of age.

Charley died August 19, 1967 in Big Spring, Howard County, Texas, United States, at 69 years of age. He married Ola Deering in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas, United States, December 21, 1923.
