He married Eliza Daniel AFT 1887. (Eliza Daniel is #1712.) Eliza was born August 18, 1872. Eliza was the daughter of George W. Daniel and Mary Ann Haymes. Eliza died February 6, 1955 at 82 years of age.

John Frederick Burton and Eliza Daniel had the following children:
